I was born in Australia, but have lived in many places around the world. My original career was in television where I worked as a travel reporter, writer and producer. This experience exposed me to many different and beautiful cultures. The highlight of my career was a private interview with Mother Teresa in Calcutta two years before her passing. This amazing experience has helped me spiritually to become a better person. I suppose it was my 'on camera' experience for so many years that enables me to have the confidence to perform in front of many people. Most clients really enjoy my positive attitude, sense of humor and my Aussie accent. Due to many of my clients beginning families, I have now furthered my services to include Baby Naming Ceremonies and I can assure you that this has become a wonderful progression of my close connection with my couples.
I have performed wedding ceremonies in most of the major venues in Los Angeles, and, to name just a few: The Langham Huntington Hotel, Pasadena; The Peninsula Hotel, Beverly Hills; Shutters On The Beach, Santa Monica; Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Marina del Rey; Greystone Mansion, Beverly Hills; Le Merigot Hotel, Santa Monica; The Wilshire Country Club; Mountain Gate Country Club; The Marriott Hotel, Marina Del Rey; La Venta Inn, Palos Verdes; Il Cielo Restaurant, Beverly Hills, The Trump National Golf Course, Palos Verdes and many more.
"The ceremony was flawless and beautiful, we cried and laughed throughout, and we felt that the words really captured the essence of us as a couple. There were so many cultural details to include in our wedding (Polish, Filipino and Korean!) and Deidra you worked so well with us to research those customs."

"It was so perfect. When Matt and I heard the words you wrote we both became very emotional. It was a personal, warm, honest and sincere sermon and we want to thank you. We had many people tell us it was the best ceremony they have ever been to."
~ Matt and Gina - La Venta Inn, Palos Verdes
