Celebration of Life
A Memorial Ceremony is what I like to refer to as a Celebration of Life for your loved one. Grieving is a difficult and painful experience. We are all confronted with loss/grief at some point during our lifetime. One of the things that truly helps us to get through this heart wrenching period, is unity of family and friends. When we gather together to honor a loved one, we feel support and comfort in the presence of those who share in our loss. As part of the healing process, a Memorial Service allows everyone to respectfully pay tribute to your loved one. It is a time of reflection, reverence and appreciation for the memories they gave to you.
I will ensure that the Memorial Ceremony is beautifully expressed and sincerely personalized to lovingly represent who they were. If you choose, a designated family member, or friend, can be invited to give a eulogy, and other speakers are encouraged to tell uplifting stories too. This is a time for collaborative participation so that you feel comforted by those sharing some personal history or an anecdote from the various stages of your loved one’s life.
To begin the process, please arrange a consultation so that I can fully ascertain your requirements and learn more about your loved one. Most of my ceremonies are non-denominational, however, you are welcome to request the spirituality of your choice. And feel welcome to include music, a candle lighting, or a dove or butterfly release! Together, we shall create a Celebration of Life that is extremely inspiring, warm and heartfelt.
